I4E Partners with Corbin's Automotive to create Internship for aspiring Entrepreneur.

Updated: Jan 11, 2021

Corbin's Automotive of Fernandina Beach, FL. and the Institute for Enterprise have partnered in providing a paid internship to an aspiring entrepreneur who attends Fernandina Beach High School. This student has expressed a desire to learn the automotive repair business and this internship will start him on his way to owning and operating his own auto repair shop. He will be working in the 4 bay shop alongside experienced automotive techs in order to learn the day to day business firsthand as well as learning the office part of the business. His work week will consist of 10-12 hours after school throughout the school year.

This future entrepreneur is looking forward to enrolling next year in the Nassau County Schools Entrepreneurship & Marketing class presented by the Institute for Enterprise. The class is designed to teach the principles of entrepreneurship, business ownership, and business management & law. The program's unique partnership with I4E provides students with access to business leaders in the community on a regular basis.

This internship opportunity is the first of several that the Institute for Enterprise will be rolling out with local entrepreneurial business partners in the north Florida marketplace in the upcoming year.
